Cantabile Youth Choir was founded on 1 November 2009 by conductor Elena Marian. Choir of Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova consists of students who love the choral art! His repertoire includes works of national and universal composers  from different stylistic periods. The choir is accompanied by Vitalie Moseiciuc concert master.

The period 28 October to 1 November 2010, the Choir “Cantabile” participated in the International Contest “Voices Di Europe” Edition in Porto Torres, Italy. In the same month, the choir was invited to a dinner “Moldovan Evening” organized by the National Bank of Romania. On 22-25 June 2011, university choir participated in the festival “Universitas Cantat” in Poznan, Poland. In February 2011, the choir has released his first CD entitled “Cantate Domine”. In December 2011, the Choir “Cantabile” won two Gold awards at the International Competition “Inside Chorus” in the town of Chieti. In April of 2012, the choir participates in European competition-festival “Я там где есть благословения” from Ternopol, Ukraine IInd edition. On 2 July 2011, in 2012 it participates in the project “Nation Romanian song – Ambassador of Peace and Faith” in Iasi, Romania, is a project organized annually by Parish “Stefan cel Mare”, dedicated to the birthday of the great prince. In July 2012, the chorale “Cantabile” participate in the prestigious “Bella Bartok” XXV edition of Debrecen, Hungary. In December 2012, the Choir “Cantabile” won two awards at the International Silver “Inside Chorus” in the town of Chieti, Italy. The team is winning national competitions and festivals such as Festival Republican Contest “The sources” (2010); Universities Republican contest organized by unions Republican; National Festival “Carols, Carol”; National Festival of choral music “leaf rust of life” (2008-2012); Youth Gala organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (2012); During 3 years, the choir “sing” collaborating with national radio and television and the foundation for the development of the Republic of Moldova “Edelweiss”, being three projects supported by the foundation. And last but not least, “Cantabile” is supported by the Rector of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova – Gregory Belosteşnic.
